Giveaway: Fresh Baby Cookbook! 1

If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you might remember how a while back I did a few giveaways from Fresh Baby. Well I have one last giveaway to do for them! This one’s for their So Easy Baby Food Basics cookbook, and I’ll also throw in their Mama Jewel Breastfeeding reminder jewelry if you breastfeed your baby! Read on for more details!

So Easy Baby Food Basics cookbook

This cookbook (which costs $8.95 on their web site) gives you an overview of the process of making your own baby food. It’s packed full of useful tips, such as how and when to introduce solid foods, how to watch for food allergies, and how to thin or thicken baby food to make it just the right consistency.

Even though this is technically a cookbook, it’s really more of a manual. While it does give a few “recipes” which are extremely easy to follow and beautifully illustrated, the book is mostly an overview of what needs to be thought about and done in order to make baby food. If you’re already a pro at making baby food, you might learn a few things from this book, but it’s mostly for those who want to give it a try for the first time. The So Easy Baby Food Basics cookbook makes it so easy!

Mama Jewel Breastfeeding Reminder

Mama Jewel Breastfeeding reminder

This cute piece of jewelry (which costs $5.95 on their website) is a lovely way to remind you which side you nursed on last. From the package:

Breastfeeding evenly across both breasts helps to maximize milk production and can prevent clogged milk ducts. But when days are blurring into nights, it may be hard to remember which side you nursed on last.

In the past, women have pinned a safety pin on their bra strap as a reminder. Mama Jewels make this homely hardware obsolete. Mama Jewels can slide around your camisole top, nursing bra, tank top or belt loop as a chic way of keeping track.

I wish I would have had this when I was breastfeeding. It’s so simple, and really cute!

Giveaway Details

To enter the giveaway to receive the cookbook and tips sheet, “like” Fresh Baby and WIC Woes on Facebook, then leave a comment below letting me know you’ve done this (and if you want the breastfeeding reminder jewelry as well, include in your comment that you’re a proud breastfeeding mama!). If you’re already a fan of both pages on Facebook, just leave a comment to be entered.

For additional entries in the contest, tweet out a link to this giveaway daily. Each tweet will give you an additional entry into the giveaway! Make sure you add @wicwoes into the tweet so I can find it.

This giveaway will run for two weeks, until February 7. At that time I’ll use a random computer generator to determine the winner, and I’ll contact them via email.

So have you tried making your own homemade baby food before? What was your experience?

Full disclosure: I was given a sample of the product to test and base my review upon, but I was not compensated for this review or giveaway. All opinions are my own and I fully stand by them.

You made a note that no one entered. I would have entered before, but I don’t have FB. The bracelet is very cute, though. :-)
