I read an article recently about a woman named Elaine. Admittedly, she got pregnant to pay for oral surgery for an infection in her gums. Now, granted that this is something that really can kill you if you mess around with it, as infections that are beyond needing antibiotics in the mouth will spread to the brain if not treated.
