I’ve always though that non-profits like churches and charities could serve the low income population better than the government. They know how to stretch a penny better. They know how to assess needs better. And they know how to care for the soul and person better while they are helping them with physical needs.
That being said, I’m realizing that non-profits and charities may not have the financial means to help the low income if the government help were to be scaled back the way many republicans and libertarians want. continue reading »
